When using our services, we may collect information about your health conditions that can help us in providing you with adaptive driving gadgets. We also collect health information relating to claims resulting from injuries sustained while using our car rental services.

With your consent, we will access location-based information from your mobile device, such as postal code, city, metropolitan area, or geographic area. We will use this information to provide you with notifications about our location, return information, local offers or other information that we believe will help provide you with a better service. The location-based information will be retained for seven years. This data is hosted by our analysis provider.

Vehicle Data

Our vehicles may be equipped with technology that collects and transmits data from your rental vehicle. This may include information collected from event data recorders, global positioning devices, systems, or any other similar technology. Where installed and permitted, this technology will enable us to collect and use the following information:

  • Location data
  • Collision data; and
  • Vehicle activity data, such as operational condition, mileage, tire weight, and fuel status, and other indicative and execution data.

After collection, this information may be combined with the information you provide to us and used to generate security, performance and other similar information so that we can provide better services to you. Our use of this information may also include storing this information after your lease agreement expires. Renting a vehicle does not prohibit us from acquiring and using the data collected from the vehicle. Our use of information may also include storing this information after the lease agreement expires. Your use of the vehicle data system provided to you is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy issued by the applicable vehicle data system provider and/or vehicle manufacturer, which may include system and service limitations, warranty coverage, liability limitations, wireless service provider terms, privacy practices, instructions for use, and information sharing and user responsibilities. Our use of information collected from rental vehicles may include sharing information with third parties as described in this policy.

We are not responsible for any data you leave in the vehicle due to use. We cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of such information, and you must delete any data before returning the vehicle to us.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and online marketing are not targeted at children under 18, and Fulton-V does not intentionally collect personal information from this group of persons. However, if you still believe that your child has provided us with their personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

This includes invitations to participate in our membership program, upgrade announcements, electronic newsletters, newsletters about incomplete online membership forms or reservations, and offers related to other services and products we provide.   • To help us give you the most fitting cars, for example, those with versatile driving devices. At times, this will expect us to deduce or expressly collect information about your wellbeing or state of being

Maintenance of Your Personal Information

We retain your personal information for as long as we need to fulfill our business purposes, as set out below:

1. Lease transaction

According to other local legal requirements, from the date of lease, we will keep the data related to your lease agreement for up to seven years. We will record your payment record within two years from the transaction date (depending on the rental location).

2. Customer service related inquiries

We will retain general inquiries for three years unless you file a complaint, in which case we will retain the complaint data for seven years.

  • Marketing and analysis purposes

We will link data to cookies and other online identifiers for up to three years. After your last interaction with us, we retain up to seven years of other marketing information, such as email subscriptions and loyalty registration data.

3. Disputes and enforcement

If we participate in litigation or government or regulatory investigations, then we will retain data throughout the entire litigation or investigation period and for the next five years. If the settlement means that we must retain longer data, then we will retain the data required to execute the settlement. If we provide data to law enforcement agencies, we will keep it for one year after the investigation is completed.
